The Louisville Community Food Pantry, Inc. was founded in 1999 and maintains the food pantry in Louisville. The food pantry serves the needs of those residents of Louisville and surrounding areas who do not have adequate resources to provide for their food and nutrition needs. Donations made by philanthropic individuals and caring businesses allow us to serve hungry people in our community. Without these important funds we would not exist. Every week our wonderful staff and team of volunteers work hard to secure food donations or discounted food from around the county, and food from the area food bank. This past year we served 1,563 families, totaling 3,349 people. 40,156 pounds of food was distributed. According to the Feeding America’s Food Insecurity Data Report, 3,420 people in Jefferson County face food insecurity every day. 1,030 are children. We hope you’ll consider making a donation to the Louisville Food Pantry, Inc. You’ll be helping members of our community who live with the harsh reality of food insecurity every single day. Donations can be mailed directly to the food pantry at 718 West Nelms Street, Louisville, Ga 30434. If you would prefer that a member of our team pick up your donation in person, just let us know and we will be more than happy to do that.
Thank you so much for opening your heart and wallet. Your tax-deductible donation (Federal Tax ID 83-4557058) will help us provide basic food staples to those who need it most.
